Alkaline describes water with a pH above 7. The rod is designed to raise the pH of the water it is placed in. It does not guarantee a particular final pH.
Is this a water filter?
No. Use the rod only with water that is already safe to drink. It is not a substitute for filtration or disinfection.
How long should I leave it in?
Covarook reports a pH change within a few minutes. Follow the instructions supplied with your rod for water volume and use. Results can vary with the starting water.
How do I care for it?
